These three bowls were hand thrown and trimmed on my potter's wheel using a rich brown specked stoneware clay. They were then bisque fired and glazed with various earthy glazes that allow lots of the dark speckles of the natural stoneware to come through. They were then fired to cone 6 in my electric kiln.
These speckled prep bowls are really unique, they have a rustic look and feel, they are very handy and have many uses! perfect for herbs, dips. etc.
Approximate size: 1.5" high and 4" across the top (each bowl varies slightly in shape and size).
Food Safe, Dishwasher Safe.
