Care and Use

All of my dinnerware is created using food safe, lead free glazes. Stoneware is heavier and thicker than fine china and is meant to be loved and used daily. It may be put in the microwave and dishwasher. However, all ceramic pottery is fragile and will break or crack from shocks due to dropping, sudden impact or thermal shock. Use care when placing in dishwasher so that pieces will remain secure and not knock around during use. Avoid sudden changes in temperature, example: do not put a cold plate into a hot oven etc. With proper care your dinnerware should last for many years. Due to the fragile nature of ceramics, Andover Pottery has no warranty against damage after safe delivery.
