This rustic mug was hand thrown and trimmed on my pottery wheel using a brown speckled stoneware clay. It was carved with ridges around the belly that adds extra interest where the glaze pools during the firing process. It was bisque fired and glazed with a drippy icy white glaze that allows the natural speckles of the brown clay to show through. It was then high fired in my electric kiln.
This unique cup will compliment any rustic, primitive or minimalist decor.
Approximate size: 3" across the top rim and 4" high, holds 15 oz. of liquid.
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
