Have a little flair of nature in your home year round with this rustic nature vase.
This vase was first hand thrown on my pottery wheel using a brown stoneware clay. I then collected leaves from my backyard (in this case maiden hair ferns) and impressed them into the clay while it was still soft (there are three unique impressions). White stoneware slip was painted over the exterior of the vase, when dry the leaves where pealed away leaving the natural white clay as a relief. The vase was bisque fired and then glazed with a clear translucent glaze and a white matte glaze on the inside. It was then high fired in my kiln.
Approximate size: 4.75" tall and 3.25" at widest part.
